Sneaker
heads: Chris Brown and Nick Cannon have gone head to head on Instagram
as they compete over who has the biggest shoe collection
It all started when Nick, 34, shared a photo of his New York sneaker closet for his one million Instagram followers on Monday.
The
pic shows shelves and shelves of sneakers, with Nick captioning the
dream closet photo: 'NY Sneaker Closet. Yeah, I need rehab bad! I have a
problem. This just the Mikes! #BlackManAndHisSneakers #AllMyLife
#SpendMoneyOnShoesButNoCar LOL #Ncredible #Sneakerheads #whatarethose'.
While Nick's fans gushed over his collection, Chris soon piped up to brag about his rival closet.
Round one: Nick started the battle when he shared a photo of his sneaker closet at his New York home
Sharing
a photo which he first uploaded on Instagram last month, Chris is seen
standing above an entire room dedicated to his sneaker collection, with
the singer informing Nick: 'I shall lead you to the promise land!'
Chris
has such a huge collection he's dedicated an entire walk-in warehouse
at his new $4.5 million home in the San Fernando Valley to his shoes.
TMZ
reports that the 8,317 sq. ft. pad has six bedrooms, but apparently the
26-year-old rapper needed a larger area in the spacious estate for all
his kicks.
I can do better: Chris was quick to
show off his entire room dedicated to his shoes at his new $4.5 million
home in the San Fernando Valley
Nick was impressed with Chris' closet but was soon sharing another snap, this time of his closet in Los Angeles.
'@chrisbrownofficial
I got stairs and ladders too! LOL! #LACloset,', he wrote, before
telling his fans that the battle wasn't about bragging rights.
'BTW
my people I'm NOT showing off or bragging by any means, but I have to
show young @chrisbrownofficial a lil Sumpn' real quick. LOL #ShoeFetish
#Forreal Sorry about throwing the church shoes in there but it's the
only pick of my LA Closet I could find since I'm in NY. #ForgiveMe
#Sneakerheads But please don't even get me started on them hard
bottoms...' he explained of the montage of photos which included a look
at his more formal footwear.
Kicking back: Nick soon pointed out he also has another even bigger shoe closet at his Los Angeles house
Wait there's more: Not to be outdone, Chris posted more snaps of his closets at his homes across the country
Chris
soon pointed out to Nick that he too has multiple shoe closets across
the country, as he shared two further photos of his Stateside
collections.
Nick
does still have one-up on his rival though, as last September the star
wore a pair of shoes to the America's Got Talent finale worth a cool $2
million, which he claimed to be the most expensive shoes in the world.
The
TV personality's pricey loafers were courtesy of Tom Ford and featured
'14,000 full-cut round white diamonds set onto white gold, with a total
carat weight of 340 carats.'
Match that: The singer appeared to have the last laugh as Nick is yet to hit back with another photo
Women's
Wear Daily reported that the jaw-dropping pair took more than a year to
create, with jeweler Jason Arasheben tasked with adding the bling to
the loafers.
'Not
very often do I get a request for the most expensive shoes in the
world,' the jeweller explained. 'When Nick approached me last year, he
said he wanted to make history and be so over-the-top. He wanted to set a
new standard in diamonds.'
'"How
can we make the most expensive pair of shoes in the world and make this
finale special?" he asked me. … It took four months alone to source all
of the diamonds and create them the same size to make the shoe.'
Shoe fetish: Nick showed off his
footwear addiction when he turned up to the America's Got Talent finale
last September in custom £2million diamond shoes

Well Nick isn't being bankrolled by Mariah anymore so rooms of sneakers will soon be just a memory for him
They can buy what ever they like with their own money
I wouldnt personally buy all of those shoes it's a waste but hey I'm not them
It's
nobodies business that they have so many sneakers but it's sad that
kids are killing each other to get all these limited releases and I
haven't seen these two condemn any of these violent acts.
equally pathetic pair........................ as to the $2 million shoes, they don't even fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
